# Get Started

In this tutorial, we go over how to run 16S rRNA isolate samples through the 16S Identification tool.

16S rRNA isolates are bacterial species identified and isolated using the 16S rRNA gene as a molecular marker, and this method is fundamental for bacterial identification and taxonomy.
